A Collector's Tree

Kovels Komments offers a cool idea for collectors decorating for the holidays.

"Decorate your Christmas Tree with collectibles. Salt and Pepper sets, miniatures of any kind, postcards, silver spoons, dollhouse furniture, metal "teabags" and of course old Christmas ornaments and lights. Most things can be tied on with fishing line. But be careful about safety-no lit candles, no frayed light cords, no cords under a carpet or rug."

Decorating Books Warm My Heart

They say Home is Where the Heart Is and I couldn't agree more. That's why books and magazines on decorating and design soothe my soul during the down times and inspire me when I'm up and raring to go for it. Making our homes a reflection of ourselves is a lot of fun but sometimes we need guidelines... and a lot of inspiration to get us going on our latest urge to start a project.

That's where decorating books and other publications..... and wonderful websites on the topic of home decor offer images in full color and tips that can get us going toward our goal of living in a heartfelt home.

But gee, those books are so costly. Yes they can be but right now I'm offering just a few hardcover books in my shop that you might like to have at very reasonable prices.
